San Francisco, CA June 13, 2006 This is a multi award-winning year for
Mel Lindstrom, an accomplished commercial photographer based in San
Francisco. What started with winning a combined 16 ADDY® Awards from the Ad
Clubs of both San Francisco and Silicon Valley, has grown to include a host
of national and industry honors for his outstanding creative talent.

To date, Lindstrom has taken home Gold and five Silver ADDYs® from the West
Coast District ad competition, a Silver award from the National ADDYs®, and
a National Finalist from the ACE Awards. He won first place for portrait in
the national AltPick Awards, a Gold medal at the American Medical
Association Awe Awards, and a Bronze medal from the national Circle of
Excellence Awards awarded by the Council for the Advancement and Support of
Education. This is the premier awards for university marketing. And the year
is only halfway through.

"To be recognized by the advertising industry and among peers for our
creative excellence is truly an honor," said Lindstrom, who teaches at the
Academy of Art in San Francisco and is a sought-after guest speaker for his
expertise in the field of photography. "This remarkable number of awards
only serves to motivate my creative juices even more."

Taking honors were Lindstrom's prize works from 2005, including the studio
self-promotion piece called The Great Communicators. His intimate series of
people shots featuring local construction workers took a top-seated Gold, as
did the photos of Burning Man, the popular inconoclastic festival held each
year in the middle of desert. The Burning Man series grabbed the Silver
award at the National ADDYs®.

The ACE Awards handed out by the Business Marketing Association, New York
City celebrate creative excellence in business-to-business marketing
communications. The Great Communicators series placed Lindstrom as a
National Finalist in this competition, which is judged by a panel of
distinguished judges from agencies, media companies and marketers.

At the AltPick Annual Awards, Lindstrom's photo of Borys from The Great
Communicators piece was the First Place Jury Vote among national portrait
entries. The AltPick Awards are an opportunity for photographers,
illustrators, designers and new media artists to enter their best works for
judgment by their peers and a panel of industry professionals. The Popular
Vote is a peer-determined win, and the Jury Vote is decided upon by leading
industry experts.
