Responsibilities will include developing national and international advertising, direct mail, fax, and e-mail campaigns to achieve marketing objectives; overseeing development of new product collateral, product labeling, operator manuals and sales/education support materials; coordinating national events such as tradeshows, seminars, user groups and sales meetings; developing new exhibit and graphic material; maintaining website, tradeshow, and budget database. Possible opportunity to oversee marcom coordinators. BA or BS in Marketing or related field is preferred. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of marketing communications experience, preferably in the ophthalmic or medical device industry. International marketing experience is a plus. Must have working knowledge of Macintosh and PC based computers, Microsoft Office software programs, database programs, desktop publishing and web maintenance programs. Must be able to multi-task and complete multiple projects under close deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communications skills are required.
