Marketing Communications Manager – Giro

Easton Sports, Bell Sports and Riddell Sports have merged together to expand market share
and to leverage our knowledge and expertise.  Together, our sales are approximately 600 million.
Easton-Bell Sports, Inc. is a leading designer, developer and marketer of branded equipment
that enhances athletic performance and protection and related accessories for numerous athletic
and recreational activities. 

Bell Sports is the preeminent designer and marketer of branded sports helmets and accessories.
In the first 40 years of its over 50-year history, the company designed and manufactured the world’s
preeminent brand of auto racing helmets, motorcycle helmets, and subsequently has become the
world's leading supplier of helmets for bicycling and snowsports.  Bell is also the worldwide leader in
bicycle accessories and leading provider of fitness accessories.  In recent years the company has
experienced substantial growth – realized both organically and by way of acquisition.

Principal Activities:
1. Establishes brand marketing communication priorities and manages the execution of annual
brand marketing plan.
2. Develop advertising strategies and campaigns that achieve worldwide brand marketing objectives.
3. Manage advertising agency relationship, domestic media schedule and adhere to project budgets.
4. Responsible for reconciling and delivering all project budgets after project completion.
5. Manage the development and production of all printed and electronic collateral materials to
achieve worldwide brand and product marketing objectives. 
6. Plans, develops and executes product catalog projects.
7. Responsible for creating and updating other collateral materials including POS catalog, owner’s
manuals and hang tags.
8. Manages with Marketing Projects Manager, all aspects of dealer POS programs including displays,
product packaging, posters and product information graphics.
9. Manage all aspects of consumer website(s) including site design, content and technologies.
Responsible for developing monthly content updates, annual product updates and the maintenance
of all databases.
10. Manage consumer and dealer programs including Crash Replacement, Internet commerce links,
co-op advertising and other promotions.
11. Responsible for the creation of all sales and marketing collateral including order forms, price lists,
marketing program information and dealer mailings.
12. Responsible for obtaining and analyzing consumer market data.
13. Acts as the primary liaison between marketing and sales departments.
14. Coordinates all correspondence with dealers, customer service and sales reps.
15. Assists with tradeshow activities and promotions.  Procures all graphics and signage for booth.
16. Assists with the creation of sales meeting collateral.
17. Assists retailers with product and brand communication content.

Education and Skills:

Bachelor’s Degree in marketing or related field.
3 – 5 years marketing and/or sales experience – preferably in consumer sporting goods industry.
A strong understanding and working knowledge of design, color trending and printing processes.
Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint.  Skills in Photoshop, Illustrator, Project Manager helpful.
Very detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and timelines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
