Director of Corporate Communications and Advertising |

| Location: Foster City, CA Company: EFI Reply to: careers@efi.com EFI is seeking a Director of Corporate Communications and Advertising with solid, proven experience in core corporate communications and advertising functions, preferably with global public company experience and strong brand expertise. In this role, candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic programs designed to support the company’s goals and objectives and designed to create and maintain a favorable public image for the organization with all its key constituencies. These include public relations, employee communications, analyst relations (industry and IR) and advertising. Responsibilities: • Manage and develop EFI’s corporate communications/advertising team and agencies and oversee all programs • Creative strategy across trade show messaging, executive communications, public awareness campaigns and advertising • Ensure global consistency of messaging across regions and by working closely with external and internal resources • Develop strategic plans for both a proactive and reactive media activities • Manage high level communications programs across product launches, acquisitions, new industry partnerships, etc. • Proactive focus on helping EFI maintain industry leadership across its product lines and market categories • Set strategy and implement global advertising program designed to maximize lead generation and brand awareness across EFI product lines • Direct management of corporate communications and advertising budgets • Work closely with Marketing, Sales and Executive management to ensure timely, proactive strategies and results-focused communications Qualifications: • B.A. degree in English, Journalism, Mass Communications or a related field in the Liberal Arts is required plus at least 10 years of industry experience at the management level • 5+ years experience in managing personnel • Must be able to work effectively in an engineering/technical environment and collaboratively across management levels and across 23 global offices • Excellent writing, analytical, communication, project, and people management skills • Demonstrated experience working with 3rd party vendors, clients, partners, and internal customers • Experience working with PR and advertising agencies • Advertising experience across planning, creative, management and strategy is essential • Some domestic and international travel required for trade shows, media tours, etc. • Self-motivated, highly creative, personable, results-oriented and able to interface and influence corporate clients EFI is the world leader in digital imaging and print management solutions for commercial and enterprise printing.
